Corridor Studies / Ecological Surveys

GPD’s environmental services group has completed comprehensive corridor studies and ecological surveys for power transmission, natural resource mining operations, natural gas mid-stream routing studies, recreational trails, and transportation corridors. These technical projects typically include aquatic and terrestrial habitat feature identification, location, and study for regulatory compliance purposes. Some of the more unique tasks we have completed over the years include Indiana Bat and Northern Long-eared Bat Habitat Assessments, Mist Net Surveys, Raptor Nesting Surveys, Spotted Turtle presence / absence surveys, and Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake presence / absence surveys. In addition, working with qualified Malacologists, GPD has completed dozens of mussel survey and relocation projects.
