Euclid Creek Wetland and Stream Restoration

Cleveland, Ohio
This project provided an ideal opportunity to re-establish and improve the migration and spawning of coastal freshwater fish species and wildlife. GPD Group designed the restoration of nearly three acres of lacustrine wetland and 1,100 lf of the historic oxbow alignment of Euclid Creek. Rigorous hydraulic modeling was required to achieve USACE approval to restore the adjacent federally regulated flood control channel.
