Queens Intermediate School

Pasadena, Texas
Queens Intermediate School was constructed to replace an aging school of the same name, the new school is a modified design from a prototype that has been built twice prior in Pasadena ISD. The school building is an efficient, compact design. A courtyard adjacent to the Cafetorium serves as an area for students to congregate prior to the start of the school day and for outdoor dining and instruction. The two grade levels are separated by a centrally located library on the first floor and science labs on the second floor. A single stage serves both the Cafetorium and Large Group Instruction room that accommodates 150+ for distance learning, drama rehearsals or small performances.
