The scientists that make up GPD’s environmental services group conduct wetland delineation services for public and private entities throughout Ohio and the surrounding states. For the energy industry, we provide wetland delineation services for electrical transmission, generation, and substation projects as well as natural gas mid-stream corridors and compressor station sites. Dozens of wetland delineations are completed each year for the Ohio Department of Transportation, County Engineers and local municipalities for public works and transportation related projects. Our scientists use current GPS / GIS technology to locate and map aquatic features. Fieldwork is completed in accordance with the 1987 U.S. Army Corps of Engineer’s Wetland Delineation Manual and applicable Regional Supplements depending on the project’s geographic location.
