GPD Group (GPD) is pleased to announce that longtime strategic partner Cummins Consulting Services (CCS) has joined the firm. As part of the transition, GPD has assumed CCS’s traffic data collection operations, and Steve Cummins, PE, has joined GPD.

Based in Lexington, Kentucky, CCS has provided traffic data collection services throughout Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, and Tennessee. This move establishes a clear succession plan for Steve Cummins’ data collection business while allowing GPD to bring traffic data collection services in-house.

This integration expands GPD’s traffic engineering capabilities and strengthens its ability to serve municipal and private clients. Over the past 15 years, GPD and CCS have collaborated on more than 300 projects, with CCS supporting the majority of GPD’s traffic data collection needs.
