The City of Beachwood partnered with GPD Group to breathe new life into its aging playground. Collaborating with a play equipment specialist, GPD’s team defined the new play area boundaries, addressed stormwater requirements, and tackled key site design elements to create a welcoming and thoughtfully designed space.

To bring this vision to life, GPD conducted a thorough site survey and geotechnical investigations. Our team worked hand-in-hand with City staff to align the design with community needs and stakeholder interests. We also met stormwater quantity and quality standards for the expanded site, developed detailed Construction Drawings, and provided construction observation services to support a smooth installation process.

The result? A vibrant playground that meets the client’s goals and adheres to both manufacturer and site development standards. Today, the space is open and thriving—encouraging play and exploration for children across a range of ages and abilities.
