New Headquarters Marks City Barbeque’s Continued Success

City Barbeque has a simple mission to “Serve and Create Happiness”. As this Dublin, Ohio-based franchise continues to grow its business after 20 years, the company’s needs have changed. Recently, restaurant executives engaged GPD to design a spacious headquarters to accommodate staff expansion. 

GPD hosted an Immersion Work Session with City Barbeque to explore the brand in depth, coupled with a company survey and thorough needs assessment. With a framework for the design and functional requirements for the building in place, GPD collaborated with the client’s marketing team to create messaging and graphics that help connect employees to the City Barbeque story.

The new 16,000-square-foot facility houses multiple departments, a call center, conference rooms and catering support. Additionally, a fully functioning test kitchen serves as the operational focus of the space, complemented by a training center that allows for staff development and the hosting of community and charitable events the brand proudly supports.
