Hudson City Schools Make Districtwide Improvements

GPD assisted Hudson City Schools in the development of an $81M districtwide capital improvement program that includes a new middle school as well as renovations and additions to several elementary schools: East Woods, McDowell and Ellsworth. The plan also called for renovations to Hudson High School, construction of a new Auto Tech Building and repurposing of Evamere Elementary School for administrative offices and community recreation.

The district retained GPD to design and implement these facilities. Our team helped guide leaders and stakeholders in determining priorities in curriculum and school design. Working together, we developed a master plan that met community expectations, provided educational facilities for the future and operated within established bond funds. Each school incorporates future-ready learning principles and technologies that fit the district’s delivery model.
